Summer rain in Dobrocin; the raindrops, while going down the camera lens, created a spectacular show.

The parent brought some dinner, then apportioned the fish(?) between the eaglets and, in the end, took the leftovers and ... took wing 8-)

17:51 - a parent's nose-diving to drop the food quickly and leave for a more quiet place

The adult eagle was speeding, so I wasn't able to take a less blurred pic. But the fairly amusing thing is the nearly straight line one could draw between the eyes of the young eagle and the eyes of the parent.

Updates July 15th
It seems (a view of the nest is partly covered by pine branches) that only one eaglet was in the nest today.

Our eaglets flew the nest on July 15th, at 4.50 am (we assume it was Świt that left as the first one), and on July the 16th, 14:12 (Zorza; its sibling).
If you feel like watching the vid of Świt's "maiden flight", here's the link (put on YouTube by Bieliki online, FB).

Yesterday, at about 1 pm one of the eaglets was seen in the nest. The other one must have been somewhere in the area. Image

Taken on July 17th, at 15:30 - one of the eaglets was sleeping in the nest, then did some wing exercises on neighbouring branches

In the evening (about half hour ago)one eaglet was in the nest also , but the cameraman is probably on vacation and there was no close-ups.
