Updates July 19th
Parent with a prey was waiting for eaglets.
One of them flew into the nest.
It looks the eaglet is going to spend the night in the nest.

You’re welcomed, it’s my pleasure.Manu wrote:Mamicja Thanks a lot for the updates about the youngsters of the Polish WTE .
Eaglets visits in the nest in recent days became shorter, perhaps due to weather, which is very scorching here. But I hope they practice their flying skills and parents teach them to hunt at this time.

Updates July 29th
Today I noticed the eaglets visits in the nest only twice.
At 15:20
At 19:30
So I lost the hope that I'll ever see Illimar again, even if the cam will be restored.

Today the eaglet flew into the nest at 20:50 CEST. He looked hungry and called for food. Then one of the parents flied in with a prey. It was already dark when the eaglet flew away.

It's nice to see the youngsters visited the nest every now and then after they fledged.

Today I noticed only a parent in the nest. But cam is too far, and plumage of eaglets is dark.

I noticed today many visits of eaglets and parents. It seems the whole family is doing well in contradiction to the cam.

Today the eaglet spent a lot of time in the nest.
Sometimes he fell asleep, sometimes called for food, but none of the parents flew in.

As this week was extremely warm the eaglets visited the nest only on evenings, but not so often like before. The Polish cam will be turned off on August 23rd.
These screenshots were taken yesterday ( maybe the last ones)

Updates August 14th
The eagle family is still nearby.
From time to time they visit the nest, but not every day.
Today in Dobrocin was blowing very strong wind. I think whilst windy weather an eagles have a problem with catching fish due a big wave on the lake. One of the hungry eaglets flew into the nest and was crying out for food. The youngster waited four hours until the parent flew in with the prey.
Screenshots taken on Sunday, Tuesday and today (sorry for poor quality – there was very windy and sun reflected in the lens)
