Abigyl posted this in the Juras-Erglis topic but it fits better here:
thank you Abigyl and congratulations, WTEs in Israel! On 19 Sep 2015, 12:43 Abigyl wrote:The world southern WTEaglet fledged after 75 days on June 7.
It is the first chick, "born" naturally, after 65 years Israel, at the "Hula Nature Reserve" on a Eucalyptus tree.

We just got this article and info with a general explanation, but one can translate it with Google and learn more. Friends went for a week and returned very excited after watching a large range of varieties and quantities. They are talking only "birds" now...
The Agamon Hula is known worldwide as the resting and recovering place for the migrating birds between Europe to Africa.
The photographer who took the eaglet's is known for his beautiful pictures of birds mainly; this time of the year we can see on his page flocks of all kinds. https://www.facebook.com/yossi.eshbol.Photographer
We enjoyed watching it and learning about another relative of "our" eaglet

Seymore gave us this information and posted it in the Latvian Juras-Erglis topic. D&R refer to Durbe and Robert, the eagles who own the Latvian nest which we are watching there.
i think this info is necessary here as well.

thank you Seymore! On 26 Jan 2016, 22:43 Seymore wrote:All this activity sure makes it hard to look away from the D&R nest but if you get a chance, HDonTap just reopened their streaming video on the Hanover Pennsylvania Bald Eagle nest site. An additional second camera with IR capability now shows night view plus sound was added this year. Second year for the cam on this nest.

They also host a nice Sandhill Crane cam from the desert winter refuge in Arizona. If you scroll down the page there are some interesting photos during installation of the cam hardware. I like the "self cleaning camera enclosure" . Looks like a water reservoir and a squirt hose.

It does give new appreciation for all that Janis has done

I can reccomend you the movie "Brothers of the wind". Somebody on a chat gave a link to the trailers. Seems it worth to go to the cinema. Beautiful nature footage!

Hello at you followers of the Hungarian WtE- nest ..... we have a topic for WtEs in Hortobágy, Hungary, here .... is this actual nest with the fresh egg now on a different location?
viewtopic.php?f=28&t=641
I can edit the title of the topic to "White tailed Eagles in Hungary" and then it can be continued with this new clutch .... would give some order in it.

Egale's rescue from the mud, Poland (mentioned by maertha - item 80 viewtopic.php?f=46&t=813&p=491768#p491768)
The young eagle was stuck in the muddy slime near the Karsibor Island, when it tried to hunt a seagull. Eagle was stuck at a distance of about 80 m from the mainland. The bird would not survive, as if photographer from Swinoujście did not undertake the three attempts to rescue him.

very good video, all good wiches for the WTE
The first sea eagles were seen at the German nest. Unfortunately, the camera is not well placed and the images are not good.

In the nest on the Steinhuder Meer it is very harmonious. The two sea eagles are always together in the nest, work together and have no problem when other birds are nearby. A pity that the camera is not closer and the pictures are not synonymous good.
