That's her instinct. Remember she hasn't hatched eggs last year and time has run out! 50++more days of incubating don't make sense and till end of May the Hobbies will return...

That's mother nature's rule: If a saker egg incubating & clutch failes, a younger saker generation will do it better...next month the lovely hobbies will take their chance to reproduce in that nest box. I'm ok with it every year.
