No, it is not the moonlight, it would have wandered away in the meantime as the moon is wandering too. It must be one of the "lights" of the ground. We see it now because the camera was moved a little more to the right and maybe also a bit more towards up.

It was certainly moved towards up a bit. And this is really good - now the place is seen much better in the dead of night, not just shadows instead of animals, but recognisable figures. It would be much better for the light to be a bit stronger, but on the other hand no one wants the animals to be scared and disturbed too much

The bear arrives

There is a sick raccoon dog, it seems to have a wound in the backside

Strangely, both raccoon dogs seem to have something wrong with their rear leg, and the second possible has a wound

One thought just came to my mind. These animals are wild. Don`t they get used to the food deliveries? Or is it just a snack for them? Because I`m convinced that this is nature and it should be the way it is, even if it is rough. This is the natural selection and it has to be like this. Animals should rely on themselves and do not trust human beings or be dependent on the food they are served for their own safety and well-being. Am I right?

Wherever human beings intervene in nature any way, it is not 100% "wild" any more.

But I am sure that none of the animals which get some food here, would survive winter when they would "only" rely on this few bites they get there. We would see much more bears and more often, when this feeding place would be an indispensable important place for getting food for them, to build up their fat reserves for winter.
Most of the time they are roaming around, to find berries, roots and other food. It may be a place to check on their turns, but not too important in their preparations for hibernation.

Feeding will stop on a certain point, food is not supplied the whole year over.

Thank you, Bea, for detailed answer. I thought that way, just wanted to be fully convinced these people who serve food know what they do. Through experience it has been found that the less human beings interfere in nature, the better animals live. But additional snack proved to be very useful, especially for us to see all the Estonian wildlife

Yes, I am convinced one can rely that people maintaining this place have much experience and know flora and fauna in their country very well

And many thanks to them for sharing their flora and fauna with us in such safe way I really do not want to see a bear so close in real life (I still have business to do under the sun ), cam view is quite enough I bet we have better view than those on the observation ground, and as a bonus we stay in comfortable chairs
