None of the cameras still online are working at the moment, so I don't think it fell down. It is surely still securely fastened to the tree!

No, it is not the moonlight, it would have wandered away in the meantime as the moon is wandering too. It must be one of the "lights" of the ground. We see it now because the camera was moved a little more to the right and maybe also a bit more towards up.
