Seili Hilma chased the intruder. Well done MoM.
Ferenz
thank you for the chasing pics!
They really are shameless, those crows - and will surely return several times, Hilma and Onni have to be alert for a long time ahead.

It looks very sad on the WWF Osprey nest. On Luotio-page they discuss whether the female is sick or the male has a second nest - anyway the female has not wanted to incubate today. In the picture she sits in a tree at around 11:55 o'clock on the top of the picture. The eggs would have hatched within a couple of days
It started to rain heavily and she retuned
According to an article the reason for failed nesting is either lack of food or unfertilized eggs: https://www.iltalehti.fi/kotimaa/a/00c8 ... 10acb3a6b7
The net connection to Seili Island has been broken since Friday and therefore also the nest cam is down. The fault is in the operator's control and the nest cam will be opened as soon as the connection will be repaired (there is nothing wrong with the nest cam).

One more tragedy: a crow stole yesterday the egg from Hilma and Onni in Seili
