During the failed attempt of a landing a young falcon has torn the number five from the ledge this evening. Since the second youngest surely needs a few more days to fly accident-free, I briefly went to the roof to have a look. Number five was sitting on the roof surface looking at me with big help-seeking eyes. However, he had no desire to be caught by me. (Quite fast on foot too)! After a few minutes, I was able to grab him and put him back into the nest box....
