The chick is fluffy, but has difficulty lifting its head...

SE30, egg #2 with a pip and a feeding of the first chick, SE29.

SE30 is trying to crawl out of its eggshell, but it's a tough going... while Lady feeds SE29.

SE30 is completely out of the shell, still wet.

Afternoon feeding. The head of one of the eaglets is wet and dirty.

Both eaglets are being fed. Windy weather.

August 3.
SE29 and SE30 are about 2 weeks old and are doing well. There has been plenty of food, mostly brought in by Dad and mostly fed by Lady.

The eaglets are about 3 weeks old.

There was little food on the previous day. Unfortunately, aggressive behaviour starts.

The eaglets are developing nicely...

August 29.
Dad brings a fish, Lady arrives, but the eaglets are only moderately interested in food.

September 6.
The eaglets stand on straight legs and flap their wings occasionally.

The eaglets flapping their wings and looking for something to eat.

Jumping, wing flapping, playing with sticks...

October 1.
Both SEs "dancing and prancing". SE29 started branching a day ago.

October 3.
SE29 fledges at 11:51:33 - flies towards the camera and disappears. Probably settles on a nearby tree.


At 12:49:25, SE29 returns to the nest, one hour after fledging.
