96.White-tailed eagle found with broken wings, cause of injury unknown. Germany, June 2015

The emaciated bird was found near the village of Zahren in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

105.White-tailed Eagle illegally poisoned in northern Germany. June 2015

The adult male eagle died shortly after it was found emaciated and unable to fly on 13 March near the village of Heide, Schleswig-Holstein. A post-mortem revealed it had been poisoned by the illegal insecticide parathion (E605).

An adult male bird and two 11 week old young eagles were found dead in and below a nest near the village of St. Michaelisdonn.
