JULY 7.
D102 was at the nest last night from 19.36 until 20.54
-- - - -
But today I found this on the national data base - DOFbasen:
Sea eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla) 1
Number per obs .: 1/1
Age: 1st calendar year
Behavior: Resting
Time: 11:04
Comment to note: On the dike/dam. Ringed and quite given one of the two kids from ØrneTV
Location: Saksfjed - The Bird Protection Foundation's Area (09:30 - 12:23)
Later Ole F Larsen suplied the information:
Young eagle on the coastal dike
Written by Ole Friis Larsen on 7 July 2022 at 14.30
It is true that one of the young eagles from the nest was with the male from the parent birds this morning. The kid first stood some distance from him, but then flew over and stood next to him.
It flew about 100 meters and used both active flight with the wings and gliding, where it hovered on outstretched wings. This means that the flight training for that eagle is going really well, and that there is close contact between the young and the parent birds outside the nest as well.
The other was not to be seen, nor the female, but there is no cause for concern. It is rather one of the chicks that is extra active when it can already be seen 200-300 meters from the nesting area, where the other of the chicks probably still lives.

AUG. 1.
The juveniles are still around and on the nest.
And prey is delivered mostly by the Male.
Which now is in the moulting process.
A Pheasant was breakfast on the 1. of August
101 got it and ate the most
102 cleaned up later.
The camera transmission will be stopped this week.
Quite a breeding attempt. Successfull in many ways.
Thanks to all around this nest
