Yes, Luz,

it was a nice season with this first timer family - everything went just fine, both parents grew to their task quickly and the chicks became healthy and independent young ladies, who can claim their own rights. The spirit on this thread was also very nice through the whole season, thank you all! Till next year!

(Some of us follow also the American bald eagle nest cams, one of two in Florida is already on and both parents have shown themselves at the cam and the other famous cam opens early in October - last year in both nests chicks hatched on the Christmas week.)

I hate to see the season end but these beautiful young birds gave me such joy this year. I prayed that Mai and Mikk would be successful raising their chicks and I was not disappointed. I watched with joy each day and felt such pride when they did everything they needed to do to raise two strong babies. It is sad that they are not going to be in the nest every day (for my viewing pleasure) but they are always in my heart. God speed young Ospret ladies....fly free and be brave.
There is nothing in which the birds differ more from man than the way in which they can build and yet leave a landscape as it was before.

The stories of the Estonian osprey nests:
http://www.looduskalender.ee/en/node/23220
(J3 = Joosep appeared to the nest 2015 - not 2014 as mentioned in the story)

Ilmar is still haunting in this story ... instead of our mighty Joosep:

That is really useful, if the mistakes in texts will be found and informed about! Happens in hurry times...
Thank you!
"2014" was my mistake, but had possibility to repair also "Ilmar"
I'll try to be with you here, but sometimes longer trips make delays or even holes in reading your posts.

In near future we will remove the cameras from woods and start preparing for next season - with improved systems, as much as we can renovate those.

Here it works with VLC Player but not with ME. I'll get a ! with all videos and streams in the net. Don't know why, but if you restart PC it should work again.
