Your expertise against the local and professional ones'. I don't doubt you having seen a lot. But understanding is another question.Liz01 wrote: ↑January 3rd, 2022, 1:47 pm This is not food on E19's back. It's saliva.
I'm still watching the nest and I'm making videos. I see that has not healed yet. I don't know where the injury came from. He's fine and I don't think it will affect the future.
I wouldn't have mentioned it if it had been normal for me. I've never seen anything like it before! I've been observing for a long time. It was the first time that I saw something like this!

So you are one of those people who do not observe and document yourself. Just criticize posts? Anyone can do that, you just have to be a little vicious.
I was already wondering about your link to the hancockwildlife forum. I am a member there. You won't believe it, these are not experts, they are regular members, just like here in the forum!
Don't answer me, this thread doesn't matter to me. have a nice time

Hi!
I agree with you Liz, I think it looks a bit strange.
Since it's not gone yet, it can't be food. It looks more like an injury that is healing?

I just wish to deliver more information - this time from the local nest chat, where local people follow the nest more intensively than Looduskalender members

On the cam page they use the neutral pronoun "their" instead of "her/his" - easier.

Desiree Deliz, the photographer, informs on FB that a friend of hers has seen that the nest of Harriet and M15 is gone by the Hurricane Ian, but the nest tree remains - so they can rebuild a nest in their home tree. We can only hope that Harriet and M15 have found a safe place to survive the storms.

The nest tree is still standing but unfortunately the actual nest & cameras are no longer. Waiting for the Eagles to return and hopefully rebuild. We will update everyone when we know more.

This photo is of nest 2 located in the west pasture taken before hurricane Ian 9/24/22. Photo taken from the church side a great distance. Liz states the nest is still there.
