I'm not quite sure. But he could be Mr Spock. Anyway he is visiting daily. The beautiful long tassels reveal him, but the sunshine makes the fur color look 'different'. It has been cloudy for weeks!
I'll wash the window as soon as it is warmer. For the moment my window is too dirty!
This one is Mrs Mops! I know her face color and tassels:

Hello It's spring
For five days ago I saw the first Wood pigeon of this year!
For the moment there is only one of them to see.
Today I caught him on video!
sorry, the video is not of the best quality..
The pigeon seems to be hungry, of course. How long has the migration journey been back on Squirrel hill been, I don't know.
But anyway. Welcome back home!

25th March:
An unidentified red squirrel with a rather short tail. It reminds me of one my favorire squirrel, Baby face!
I can't believe that it's him, it is so long time since I saw him..
Hm.. Was Charley there too?? Well, there are of course other not very gray but gold brownish male squirrels, not only Charley. This one could be Oscar also.
There are many squirrels whom I can't recognize ... some of the last summer's pups may be around??
Almost all snow has melted!

The next one looked a bit strange. I have seen him/her? earlier too, but now got it on video. The tail is not 'normal'. It seems shorter than it should be. Perhaps it has just lost the tail top fur?? I can't say.. On the other hand it looks very normal, a beautiful and lively red squirrel:
poor of you, what have you experienced??
two little videos follow.. on next post

You are welcome, birdfriend!
During these days I have been busy.. you know: there are so many wonderful news and new web cameras to watch!
I have taken some videos of squirrels, and I'll post them here sooner or later, before summer is here!
Squirrels are fine here. I have seen that some female squirrels has to have babies already, their nipples reveals the fact!

Long time no see! It's because I have been busy watching WTE and Black stork cameras!
Spatz, do you mean with the word 'kobel' a squirrel nest?
It's possible, I think that it could be there, a squirrel nest, just in the beginning of the tree branch.
Thank you for the photos! Here too can be seen some cats - one of the new neighbors has a cat, and we have seen her lurking here every other week - or not that often. One of the old neighbor's cat is quite old, I think, she could not hunt squirrels.
I have been told that squirrels are not the easiest to be caught by cats. Squirrels are fast and quick, they escape, or they use their nails, and then it might be the cat who escapes! It's different with squirrel pups though.
I saw a roe deer the day before yesterday.
It was really spring looking here, the lawn was green..
but today, in the evening, everything turned white in 60 minutes!
It has been so much happening on the WTE nest!!

spatz! The squirrel is cute!! So beautiful colored back and tail!
I see 'my squirrels' every day behind the window. They have a new feeder house, but they think that its is better without roof! It's on the ground, again.
They have different fur color.
Female:
There is nothing wrong on the gray fur, water drops have made those 'dark spots' on his back fur.
It's a she too. I almost believe that it is a two years old female, Titian.
