I think that Mai and Neeme somewhere close. Perhaps Mai gives fishing lessons to the youngest son. 8-)

Yes, it's very strange that Mai and Neeme are gone, but Mai had been fishing last few days, getting back in shape before the migration...but Neeme... :unsure:

I missed Paavo leaving. Nice Crop picture!!
I wonder if Paavo is as perplexed as we are as to what happened to Mai and Neeme!

I know it's human thinking but somehow I feel sad looking at Mati standing so lonely. All the time busy taking care of his big family, fish after fish and suddenly... At least there is still Paavo who needs him, beautiful Dad

Yes, it is very sad and unusual, that Mai and Neeme were no more on the nest since 12.August. It are already four days.

Similar was with Ulla and Grey in 2013 in Latvian osprey nest...
I think that Neeme flew with Mai somewhere to learn fishing... :nod:

Yes, but there was a bit different situation, Grey fledged in July 16, last visit to the nest was in August 8, 23 days after the maiden flight, Neeme fledged in August 2 and his last visit to the nest was in August 11, only 9 days after his maiden flight.......

fortunately not 2016, it is a tragedy in latvian.
