Yes, it's very strange that Mai and Neeme are gone, but Mai had been fishing last few days, getting back in shape before the migration...but Neeme...Hellem wrote:Osprets began migration usually a month after their maiden flight

I know it's human thinking but somehow I feel sad looking at Mati standing so lonely. All the time busy taking care of his big family, fish after fish and suddenly... At least there is still Paavo who needs him, beautiful Dad

Yes, but there was a bit different situation, Grey fledged in July 16, last visit to the nest was in August 8, 23 days after the maiden flight, Neeme fledged in August 2 and his last visit to the nest was in August 11, only 9 days after his maiden flight.......lianaliesma wrote:Similar was with Ulla and Grey in 2013 in Latvian osprey nest...
