The three Glaslyn chicks are 105, 104 and 101 days respectively, so now 499 has also been inducted into the "Glaslyn 100 Club". Who will be the first to leave?
The whole family were still present this morning, but Mrs G has spent the past two nights roosting on the perch, is she preparing herself to depart her nest and begin her journey south?

We have not seen Mrs G since she flew towards Llanfrothen yesterday morning at 08.58 and it is looking increasingly as though she has departed for her winter home.
This morning all three Glaslyn youngsters were on trees close to the
Afon Dylif, but the two males left shortly before 09.00. During the
afternoon when Aran made two fish deliveries to the nest, 497 was the only taker for each of them.
Is Aran fishing for two or four now?

10.September
In meanwhile Aran and 497 are alone there. 498 and 499 left yesterday morning for their first migration. Mrs.G is gone the day before.
Nice visitors, I guess songtrushes.
Just stunning:
Fish from Aran for lonely 497 at noon.
View to the beautiful landscape.

No sightings of 498 and 499 since early yesterday morning and the chicks from the Pont Croesor nest have not been seen since midday yesterday either.
Looks as though Aran is fishing for two then!

The Glaslyn Ospreys Visitor Centre will close for the season at 4.30 pm on Saturday, 17th September. Our Live Streaming will continue to follow Aran and 497 until we are certain they have left the Valley. We will also keep the Live Streaming and Chat switched on over the winter months. There is always plenty to see so please continue to pop in and out!
Also, we have a few live events planned during the Autumn so keep a look out for further details during the coming weeks.
Thanks very much to you all for your continued support and kindness, in word and deed, throughout this season. Your encouraging comments, on Facebook, Live Chat and via email, and your generous donations, via CAF Donate, PayPal, Just Giving, monthly standing order donations, cheque, cash or card donations at the Visitor Centre, are greatly appreciated and are vital towards our survival. Every penny goes to support the Glaslyn Ospreys charity. We really can’t do it without you!
Heartfelt thanks to you, at the end of what has been an incredible osprey season in the Glaslyn valley!

It's time to leave soaked girl...
https://community.rspb.org.uk/placestov ... nt-4292=68497 waited on the perch for over an hour, gave up and flew off but the cam couldn't follow - not seen since - an Aran hasn't been seen at all yet.

Ferenz... 497 still here...
wet 497
delivery from Aran
Bywyd Gwyllt Glaslyn Wildlife
Aran is on the A498 tree with a fish
He has a massive flounder
He keeps looking around for her. Has she gone?
It would be the same fish. Aran was startled by the workers and left the A498 tree very much the same time as 497 left the perch.
