11:01/02 An eagle flies into the nest, a second positions itself on a branch in the background.

The second flies into the nest after the first leaves it.
Calls, cleans ...looks around.
Seems to be comfortable.

11:13, '16 A buzzard is calling

11:20 The eagle is getting more energetic. Cries out loud.

Good morning! :hi:

from 06:58 the cuckoo began to call.

09:43 The eagles can be heard.
'44 Both come to the nest, one carries nest material.

The male briefly leaves the nest twice but remains close to the nest. It comes back quickly.


09:53 Now the female also leaves the nest.

The male flaps onto a side branch and leaves the rest to the female.

She calls, pecks in the nest bowl ... calls again.
Eventually the female leaves the nest too...keeps calling.

The male brings a thicker branch with lichen.

07:29 - 08:29 The female with a fir branch as a souvenir spends a long time in the nest. She's totally relaxed... working in the nest, loosening her feathers.

08:42 - 09:45 Another hour in the nest. She brought a very lush pine branch.

The eagles take their time.
Today it is raining.

08:52 The male comes to the nest. Nothing in the beak, nothing in the claws.

But it works in the nest and digs the nest bowl. The couple communicates. :nod:

She pushes and lays...digs the nest bowl.

Egg #1 🥚

The couple has continually decorated the nest.
Today Smilga laid the first egg. :innocent: The cuckoo with its calls was part of the moment.
