the weather shown in your picture is just horrible for storks and ospreys, also for other flying birds. Hopefully our Ospreys survived and arrive very soon to their nests. Every day I check the webcams but they are still offline.
I don't know the route our Ospreys are taking, but I have seen frozen storks in Bulgaria and Romania.
Hopefully after Easter the weather is getting warmer.
Wish everybody a Happy Easter

in this week the latvian osprey cam will be online.

I hope that all migrations birds have a safe and healthy arrival on their nests.

Hello everyone! :hi:
I have been watching this nest since 2015, but I heard about this forum only last year. It was very interesting to spend time with our osprey! And I'm looking forward to the start of the new season, so I can not wait for the return of lovely Irma and attentive Ivo.
However, I was very upset when I heard the latest news about the weather in Estonia. We hope that our osprey will not suffer.
Maybe there are some news from Urmas about launching cameras?

Hello skyhawk :hi:

Great, that you found the way to the forum :gathering:

I still have no news from Urmas, no scheduled date about launching the camera.

As soon as I get something to know, I´ll post it here

Nothing helps but trying to be patient *uuuaaaahhhhh* :faint:

Hello skyhawk! Welcome! Here in Germany we are also angry about the weather. Spring is coming slowly this year. :slap:

Ivo waited until migration to or with Daisi. I found the time very late. But I am inexperienced with eagle observations and really very curious what will bring us and our eagles this year.

I think to remember that one of you made a table/overview about the dates when Irma arrived/left the nest from/to migration over the years and posted it .... Sappheira, was it you? Or am I remembering wrong? I still know that I wanted to add this to the introduction posts, but I obviously forgot about this :faint:

Maybe one of you all still remembers this and can give me a hint about the post or in which timespan it was posted, I´d like to add it to this years´ introduction.

Thanks in advance! :shake:

Ahhh ... another summary, thank you, mogga! I will add it to introduction of the 2018 topic, too

Questions for these comparing datas are rising every year on some point of the season, so it is good to have it at hand on one place.

 Hello Bea and Everyone!
I just watched a video from last season that dear Sappheira made of ‘our’ Osprey family! Now I’m even more antsy and nostalgic to see ‘our’ Queen Irma and King Ivo, again!
:loveshower:
I hope that they are on a safe and easy journey back to us and their home!!

Good to know that many of us are already lined up at the starting grid.
Next Thursday at last it would be more than +10 at some places in Estonia.

Solo always provides great information. I like reading it  Unfortunately, he hasn't posted for a few days? :puzzled:
I'm not so good at this. For my understanding Kalle and Markus move on but not in a hurry.

Compared to other colleagues on the map, they stroll.

It probably got around in osprey circles (also over a long distance) that Estonia is still covered with snow :faint:

@ Sappheira, thanks for your time.

The gentlemen are strolling. :whistling: That's what I said. But I can understand them.
First and foremost, I hope everyone gets home safely. There are so many dangers on your journey.... no matter how long it takes.

Almost indifferent... . 8-)

Couldn't the camera still be switched online?
