I've heard them too . It seems that geese have begun their migration to the south(in a few days it will be full moon) . Where I live, in Germany, we see them flying the first weeks of October.

2 October. Good afternoon! Today, very windy, on the right on the rim of the nest appeared birch bark. Maybe I arrived ... 15:59. The osprey flew away. Nevertheless, life does not stop. The buzzard flew over the forest.
