Hello Gavril,
I think Mati has become very careful about female Ospreys. They just want him to bring fish and in return, he gets nothing :slap:
Hopefully Mai, his love last year, finds her way back to Mati. They brought up two beautiful Ospreys last year. We just have to wait which lady he will chooses. :shake:

Good morning on a sunny day.
Mati came to the nest, looked around, straightened the nest and flew away again. No female in sight.

Good morning friends
on a sunny Saturday morning. Mati is not to be seen, but pretty birds flutter around the nest. They are probably nuthatches as Birdfriend mentioned before.

Good Morning,
only little birds show up in this nest. Looks like Mati has already left for Africa and I really hope that he will stay safe and comes back next year.

I would wish him a good and healthy female osprey and not less than two wonderful and healthy chicks. He has it really deserves.
Stay safe, Mati!

When I look at the picture from IceAge, dated September 17, I suspect that someone has worked on Mati's nest. This new branch was added.
