[quote="Gavril"]6:39. See you!
Good morning Gavril and thank you for the great picture you have taken from Mati.
I missed Mati this morning but I saw that he has worked in the nest. It is always astonishing the way Ospreys handle such big wooden sticks and they are probably massy too. But why is he still preparing his nest? In a few weeks he probably flies to Africa and right now there is no Osprey lady in sight to empress.
Wish you a nice day

Particularly surprised that Mati brought hay. 8:44. And now, I see by the position of a big stick that he was here again. He wants to make sure that before a distant migration in his nest all is well! I see in this the signs of a strong self-confident person!Jenny wrote: Good morning Gavril and thank you for the great picture you have taken from Mati.

August 8, 2017 - good morning
This morning their is a visitor in the nest of Mati. He has no number on his leg and in my opinion is this a female because of the sound she makes. Another Osprey came to the nest, but I could hardly see his ring and this Osprey left immediately the nest. Does anybody know who that is?

Someone´s sitting on the cam stand (shadow is visible). Looks like it patiently listens what the youngster has to say.
9:27-28 Mati landed several times on the nest.
9:30 the youngster left and soon Mati flew in with a twig.
9:33 Mati arranges the twigs in his nest, the youngster is crying somewhere near.
9:42 Mati left.
It is silent again.

Mati is in the nest working, but his head is turning constantly, probably looking for this Osprey lady.

Is the visitor this years chick?
I checked that LF didn't have white endings on feathers and she was two years old.

Perhaps this is the future potential spouse of our Mati ... However, the Osprey is like a fledgling chick .... and with a metal ring ... our Mati!Jenny wrote:August 8, 2017 - good morning
