The Fish camera showing spawning trout in a stream in Estonia has started into a new season.
The camera is supported by the RMK Põlula Fish Breeding Centre: http://www.rmk.ee/organisatsioon/polula ... us-polulas (in Estonian), the camera used is a Canon HV20E video camera fitted with a WD-H43 wide-angle converter.
Here's a list of people and institutions involved in bringing the pictures from the spawning area to our home PCs:
The sound is by an ART sound card.
The encoding of the video stream is done by Urmas Lett, EENet.
The external connection is provided by Andigo Eesti OÜ.
Monitoring the set is done by Tiit Lepik from ITrotid OÜ
Work at the site in Põlula was carried out by Ivo Kivinurk.
Camera settings were done by Andri Puusepp.
Rein Maran from Gaviafilm supported us in arranging the lighting.
Kaido Haagen helped with installation and adjustment of the video image.
Kunnar, Ene and Ivar, specialists from the RMK Põlula have been a great help as every year.
