Lea, I thought the same but Vikipeedia says it´s from German names Karolen/Carolen, Karolle, Carroll and Carvele
https://et.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karula
Somehow I doubt that.

Sorry, that's not important in this context.juta wrote: ↑July 14th, 2018, 8:00 pm Lea, I thought the same but Vikipeedia says it´s from German names Karolen/Carolen, Karolle, Carroll and Carvele

I see the Karula National Park as bear castle, maybe there were bears or are there still?

Was not this discussion already last year? For me, the origin is not so important, we live here and now, like the animals too. And it is also about the research of the breeding areas, right?
Karl and Karula....

Very good!
7163 jumped out of the nest as fast as lightning. Välk
I think that 7162 was so brave today that the name Karula should be earned. Karula
7161 has really done a lot of wind in the last few days with its wings. Tuul
I like it very

Hellem, I like this but what do you think if to change Tuul to Tuule and Välk to Välgu? Then it sounds more like names? Yes, I know that at least one girl has name Tuule... Just thinking.

Here are my suggestions.
(Thank you Lea T and Juta!)
7163 The oldest chick hatched during a thunderstorm.
Lightning = Välk
7161 The second chick was first seen at sunrise, the first light.
Light = Tuli
7162 The youngest and biggest chick behaves as a 'boss'.
Karula There is also a nice connotation with 'Karl'.

7162 = Karula
71 61 = Tuli

Then we can change Välk ---> Kõu, meaning "thunder"

I love thunderstorms, as children we always counted to 7, when it thundered and then only the lightning came, the storm was far away ....
The thunder is a warning. Lightning means electric shock to me.
