Bounces through the nest like a rubber ball...that lightness...

...turns downwards like a fruit of the linden tree. :innocent:

Seems there were two.

I'm going crazy in this nest... :dunno:
08:50 Two again to see
One in the nest, a second flutters around the nest.

This is another - it looks like Goshawk. :slap:
He also has a different chest drawing than the one before (07:01 ~ Sparrowhawk for sure).

08:50 The Goshawk comes in from the right, taps the nest, backs away.
Then he returns, lands briefly on the nest and jumps below the nest.
Image

Image

A second bird comes down from the right (wing tip in photo).
Who are the wings for?
Image

The sounds of both do not sound friendly, inviting or consensual in my opinion.

08:51/52 The Goshawk returns to the nest. The other bird continues to fly at a distance around the nest.
Image

The goshawk plucks at the nest, then exits into a nearer tall tree.

The calls continue to be heard.

11:47 a lot of flight movement and excited calls (>2 birds) that sound like sparrowhawks.

My goodness...they look so alike. :slap:
While the beak and eyes looked more like Goshawk earlier, it's more Sparrowhawk again.
edit: I think Goshawk

The eye area and charisma is different, and the eye color seems different. The beak seems longer and the movements different?
Yes, depending on the light and position, it's confusing.
Addendum: I just mentioned it in chat: female sparrowhawks can be as big as a male goshawk.

A visitor lands, appears excited.

August 7th - addendum

:hi:

The former breeding ground of Osprey Teo and his changing partners remains a colorful meeting place.
No more squirrels and WTE seen but area and particularly nest seems to be of current interest as good viewing and meeting place for hawks (adult and juvenile).

It will probably be quieter here soon. When the juveniles explore their own territories.
The nest is not suitable for hawks. Ospreys are no longer seen - but also no longer heard.

As always, very attentive noted by @Ligzdas Gariņš:
Thank you for the timestamps! It's nice when nests continue to be observed even if breeding is unsuccessful! :innocent:

August 8th

The unfavorable weather doesn't take a break.
Voices can still be heard between the discharges.

14:01, 17:17/18 The Juveniles seem to have branched out. Only one voice to be heard.

18:31 again the gentle call but the bird heading for the nest is not a hawk.
An Osprey!
Unusual but beautiful - an osprey at the osprey nest. :2thumbsup:  :2thumbsup:
Image

Lands on camera, chirps.

The image shakes until 6:37 p.m., then the Osprey seems to move on.

'38 The Falcon takes over. Calls.

Is the phenomenon of migration?
Females in particular also rest here during the spring migration. Then they move on.

Is the autumn migration already beginning? Would be conceivable.

19:56/57, '59 The calls of the juvenile falcon can be heard sporadically.
Much less persistent.

August 11th

:hi:

The 'big ones' have sorted themselves out and don't seem to be so ubiquitous here anymore.
A hawk could be heard yesterday. However very sporadically.

Now the little ones are starting again.

:hi:

Another passerby?
12:16 The osprey lands on the camera tripod without calling. Only the heavy flapping of wings and the landing can be heard.
Image

'19 Seems to be grooming his feathers - he audibly shakes himself.

'21 leaves the place?

Incidentally, these calls have left me no peace.
viewtopic.php?p=907760#p907760

I have now installed the BirdNET app and it has been evaluated that it is a coal tit/Periparus ater. With the addition 'very uncertain'.
I've looked up the coal tit's call on another bird call site - it's actually possible. At least the alarm chirping sounds similar.
