In mid-December Saaremaa had strong storms with snowfall and blizzards. In Western Saaremaa people were cut off from the world for several days without electricity and with unploughed roads. The blowing snow probably buried our technology behind the shore bank in a snowdrift and made it impossible for the camera to start running in the mornings. It will be interesting to see how it has affected the batteries that feed the system.
