In cover of the early autumn dark the raccoon dog gets away with a scared yelp. The brown bears have arrived so silently, and it is truly remarkable how silently brown bears are able to move among the debris in the forest.

 

Once a day this pair of young bears pass the camera. Their food table is certainly not meagre, there is still corn in the fields in the neighbourhood, the cranberry spots are known to them … The fat reserves for winter are mostly produced from carbohydrates.
