Rollrim
Common rollrim or brown rollrim Tavavahelik Paxillus involutus
The common rollrim has been declared a toxic mushroom species. People are very varyingly sensitive to the rollrim toxins. According to scientific studies the toxic effect of the rollrim originates in civilization illnesses (for instance food allergy) but also in changes in habitats.
Only 25 years ago the mushroom guides assured us that the rollrim could be used in a mushroom sauce, but it did not provide a culinary experience.
In a forest environment rollrim groups are quite attractive, a delight for the eye.
