 In the winter garden bird count chaffinches were seen all over Estonia, and that in days of severe cold.

 

Where can these birds, sociable outside the nesting period, be seen? Near bird feeders or more precisely, searching for seeds spilled down from the birdfeeder.

 

In the forest they can be confused with bramblings; we will find an opportunity to compare them sometime.
