 Gray seals are social creatures and outside the breeding period they manage nicely between themselves in large haul-outs – nobody is particularly eager to start a quarrel although you are used as a pillow or flippers are supported on your body.

 

From their looks it seems that the animals have fed well and there is still time to the birthing or, expressed otherwise, life can be enjoyed.
