 Boar and wolf

Wild boars are wolf food, so wolves are very interested in the tracks of boars. The prey is mostly piglets and very young boars. An old male boar is a different story. A wolf may well walk along the tracks of the boar but it is a too strong and dangerous adversary for wolves. Normally the wolf cannot risk its life and health, it must find something easier. Along the same path a hunters’ car has also been moving. Between man, wolf and boar there are intricate relations. The boar is a favourite of hunters, many gunmen see the wolf as a troublesome competitor.
