 Last year there were few spawning fish during daytime: when a mammal had harassed them they did not show on the spawning site for a couple of days. In daytime wild animals will not move around the spawning grounds and so there are more spawning fish to be seen in daytime than in the evening or at night.

 

In the beginning of the video we see a trout that probably has been attacked by an otter; the wounds are healing.
