Wild strawberry.
The first wild strawberries (Fragaria vesca) we can find already around midsummer at forest fringes, with fruits and flowers at the same time, because all berries don’t ripen at once. It is a good time, after the end of term parties, to go looking in fields and forest clearings. And we are not the only ones, bears wait too for delicious munching in the woods …
