Chickweed wintergreen.
White is abundant in meadows now, with blooming cow-parsley and yarrow and bedstraws, but in the woods there is less of it after the springtime overflow of wood anemones. But there is some, and one white-flowering plant is the chickweed wintergreen (Trientalis europaea). Even the fruit is white, a round capsule. The chickweed wintergreen provides colour in the autumn too, when its leaves take on coppery and pink hues.
