Once more road verges are purple – the rosebay willowherb (Epilobium angustifolium) flowers in full splendour. In addition to the beautiful flowers the plant has other valuable properties too: the leaves of the rosebay willowherb make a good tea. Worth trying when there is nothing else at hand on a ramble. The tea has a soothing effect.
