Guelder rose

All bushes and trees with berries catch the eye in autumn, but the guelder rose is a true beauty among them. The wild-growing guelder rose has beautifully dark red leaves, in the cities there may also be bushes with yellow leaves in gardens. The berries taste rather insipid but become quite eatable after night frosts – approaching now – and surprisingly the fruits with a high content of sugars and Vitamin C make a very good tea too, with a really astonishing taste.
