After the snowstorm the monitoring camera started working again in the afternoon. In this weather we can’t really be sure how the light regulated camera switch will behave.
Temperatures around zero and a sinking water level had brought the grey seals to the shore. It was a splendid sight: in the evening dusk a flock of nearly a hundred animals was moving around. Big old males were not to be seen – they are still busy on their own.
As a reminder: males have elegant dark suits, the females speckled dresses.
