Ice flowers on window.
There were more ice flowers earlier, and not because winters aren’t so cold any more: after all there are really frosty days during the winter period even now. The reason is the windows. Now that many of us have new polymer windows, and rooms don’t "breathe” anymore, the humidity in the air is kept in check and outdoors and indoors temperatures seldom get the chance to create these ice patterns when they meet. With frost, in the damper environment of the old windows an ice flower, or ice fern, can start to grow somewhere in a corner, creating and repeating patterns like its own over and over againtreid.
