Only the biggest chick is still there in Klaara's and Klaus' nest. The hard winter and parasites have taken their toll  (that is the preliminary opinion of ornithologists). Such is the life of owls in the fight for survival.

We hope that the specialists will give us their views on what has happened soon. And the nest-living time of the strongest chick will be at an end in the next few days.
