A plant for shadowy and damp forest environments. Herb Paris isn’t difficult to recognise and remember. At the top of the stem, where four leaves meet (in autumn some may have dropped already) it carries a bluish-black berry, sometimes shiny, sometimes covered with a waxy layer. Typically herb Paris, and there is no similar plant.
