Late yesterday night the camera image disappeared, but for an hour sounds from the feeding ground could still be heard. Morning is wiser than evening, as an Estonian saying goes – a boar had been at the network cable with its teeth and severed the connection. Good that the web camera was left „alive“.
Many thanks to Viljar who came from Rakvere on Sunday with his company bus and tools. For now the extent of the damage has been established and repaired.

Observant viewers have probably noticed a somewhat tattered smallish young boar that has lost one ear and has had hairs pulled out from his sides. Although young boars fight between themselves such damage points rather to a brown bear attack. The young boar was lucky and the fur will grow again.
