Blue tit | Sinitihane | Parus caeruleus |
Regardless of its small size its behaviour is audacious and quarrelsome. The beak and claws are sharp as nails and other bird feeder guests prefer to keep at a distance. Compared to other tits it takes less food from plants but is more often seen on the piece of lard. In reed banks the blue tits are common guests looking for wintering invertebrates and in severe times they search for berries and buds in deciduous trees and also insects wintering in bark crevices.
