On this year’s Giving Tuesday (Annetamistalgud), BirdLife Estonia is raising funds to install a web camera in a Common Swift (Apus apus) nest.
Our goal is to raise 4000 euros to cover all the necessary costs such as purchasing and setting up the nest camera, streaming the video and providing narration.
We will use your donations to purchase the camera and audio equipment, install and maintain the equipment, cover data and server services, and pay for other related costs.
The live feed from the Common Swift nest will be aired in the beginning of summer 2026 and will be freely available for all bird enthusiasts throughout the nesting season.
