Live cam at nest of mixed breeding pair between Greater Spotted Eagle and Lesser Spotted Eagle in Estonia.

The Greater Spotted Eagle (GSE) nest is located in Harju County, Estonia. We have known this nest site since 2016. Former nest tree, spruce (with nest, what we observed several years) broke during winter and eagles resettled older nest in 2022, one eaglet has fledged here last year.

The male Tõnn, who has been nesting here since 2016, was equipped with GPS-transmitter. Unfortunately he disappeared during wintering 2020 in Spain. We don't know what happened to him, but most probably poached.

The female bird Tiiu returned from spring migration on April 14th this season.

Lesser Spotted Eagle (LSE) male was seen first time at nest in 20th of April.

Hybridisation happens, because of shortage of available individuals of GSE around here.

First egg appeared to be in nest in 25th of April.
